Voice4Change.org Mission Statement

The mission at voice4change is to bring a positive message to the broadest possible audience. There are many wonderful organizations doing critical work to make our world a better place. Many of these organizations have very informative web sites but do not have the time to promote them. Our role will be to promote these sites to increase their effectiveness.

We bring to the table the skills necessary to generate traffic to existing organizations freeing them up to focus on content and the important work of the organization.

 Who We are?

Scott Galindez

Since 1987 I have been working on various causes from combating Homelessness to ending our countries obsession with militarism and war. Before a winter night in 1987, I was not very political. I was walking past the White House when a demonstrator in Lafayette "Peace" Park commented that my mind was "too closed to listen". I stopped and proceeded to have a long conversation with him. At one point, the United States Park Police rolled in and started issuing tickets for camping to the protesters and homeless people in the park. From that day forward, I have been committed to promoting peace and justice.

I have worked on campaigns against nuclear weapons, war, nuclear testing, star wars, intervention in Central America, corporate led globalization, and advocacy for the Homeless. My story is one example of how one statement, one e-mail, one flier, or one view of a web page can change a person's viewpoint. That is why Voice4change will daily reach out to thousands of people with the goal of changing hearts and minds.

I have worked in the field of Mental Health and Addictions for the past 22 years and have seen the effects of poverty and peoples sense that they do not matter. We all matter. Privately, I have worked to increase voter registration and voter turn out. If progressive ideas are to be effective, first comes the message, then the vote. When Scott approached me concerning voice4change, I immediately realized that this project would bring together the many groups that are working to make our world a better place to live, I had to be involved.
